Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders while resolving complex issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing procedures and contribute to project completion
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
