Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead software testing efforts, documenting results and resolving issues while providing technical solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and progress reporting on testing activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools and languages such as JMeter, Java, Python, and version control systems like Git
