Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Testing Principal will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and ensure compliance with organizational standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and compliance
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Provide technical solutions to complex problems and contribute to the improvement of testing procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans, with familiarity in testing tools
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
