Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
Supporting mission-critical healthcare applications, the full-time Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) will manage testing and quality assurance activities in a remote environment, focusing on modernization efforts, system enhancements, and comprehensive test plan development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications operating in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities while ensuring data integrity across legacy healthcare systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements and test objectives, documenting results and coordinating issue resolution
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or system validation experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
