Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
Supporting critical healthcare applications, the full-time Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) will manage testing and quality assurance activities in a remote environment, focusing on modernization efforts, system enhancements, and comprehensive test plan development for MUMPS/InterSystems Cache systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications
- Validate software enhancements and perform various testing activities including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements and testing objectives are met
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
