Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
Supporting modernization efforts and quality assurance for healthcare applications, the full-time Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) will develop and execute test plans, validate software enhancements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Support functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities while ensuring data integrity across legacy healthcare applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot software defects and integration failures, providing technical leadership on testing strategies for healthcare systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- 10+ years of software testing, quality assurance, or system validation experience, particularly in healthcare or government environments
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar
