Software Testing Principal
Job Summary
Supporting critical healthcare applications in a remote capacity, the full-time Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) will manage testing and quality assurance activities, develop comprehensive test plans, and ensure the integrity of legacy systems in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures for healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Support modernization efforts and validate software enhancements, defect corrections, and system upgrades
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and troubleshoot software defects and ensure testing coverage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR
- Experience developing detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases for healthcare applications
