Job Summary
Experienced in healthcare testing, the full-time Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) will support quality assurance activities for mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote environment, focusing on developing and executing test plans, validating software enhancements, and ensuring interoperability across systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
- Validate software enhancements and conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring data integrity and compliance with healthcare standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation, particularly in healthcare or government environments
- Experience testing applications developed using MUMPS and/or InterSystems Cache
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and EDI transactions
- Ability to develop detailed test plans and analyze system logs for root cause identification
