Solar Project Developer
Job Summary
To support a growing renewable energy platform, the full-time Solar Project Developer will manage the development lifecycle of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams across various U.S. power markets.
Key responsibilities
- Advance complex energy projects through multiple stages of development, from site evaluation to project execution
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, landowners, and utilities to ensure project feasibility and compliance
- Evaluate new project opportunities and contribute to the development strategy and commercial aspects of projects
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in power, renewable energy, or related project development
- Strong understanding of project feasibility, risk, timelines, and economics
- Experience with site evaluation, permitting, and interconnection processes
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Environmental Science, Real Estate, or a related discipline
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
