Job Summary

Leading the architecture and modernization strategy for an enterprise-scale remote instrument monitoring platform, the contract Solution Architect - Cloud & IoT will work remotely to define technical roadmaps, design scalable cloud-native architectures, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in the life sciences and clinical diagnostics industry.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the end-to-end architecture and modernization strategy for a remote instrument monitoring platform
• Design scalable cloud-native architectures and establish technical standards for device connectivity and real-time telemetry
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead legacy modernization and migration strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• Extensive experience in enterprise-scale solution architecture initiatives involving cloud platforms and IoT
• Demonstrated success in designing production-grade AWS solutions and AI-driven applications
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications using .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and SQL Server technologies
• Familiarity with medical-device software regulations and cybersecurity requirements preferred
