Solution Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of Solution Engineers, the remote Solution Engineering Manager will oversee the Specialty Sales Practice, providing technical leadership and partnering with sales to design and present comprehensive datacenter solutions across data protection, storage, compute, and networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately five Solution Engineers
- Partner with the sales team to scope, design, and present multi-discipline datacenter solutions
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex, multi-product specialty opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in enterprise IT with broad datacenter exposure
- Hands-on experience with enterprise storage platforms such as PowerStore, PowerVault, Unity, or PowerScale
- Solid understanding of compute and virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V and VMware
- Prior experience managing or leading a technical team
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
