Solutions Architect
Job Summary
Working remotely in a permanent position, the Solutions Architect will design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions for complex distributed systems and modern application architectures.
Key responsibilities:
- Design scalable microservices architectures and implement event-driven solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka
- Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and standardize containerization practices using Docker and Kubernetes
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design sessions while mentoring engineering teams on architecture best practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in a Solutions Architect or equivalent technical leadership role
- Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale distributed systems and cloud-native applications
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and advanced AWS services including EKS, EC2, and Lambda
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
