Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the implementation of secure and scalable Azure cloud architectures in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete solutions that meet customer requirements and result in competitive proposals
- Coordinate with technical teams and provide subject matter expertise to ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards and business objectives
- Design, implement, and govern Azure cloud architectures while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services, including extensive experience with core Azure services
- Strong understanding of Azure security architecture, governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity, along with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
