Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of competitive proposals by understanding customer requirements and coordinating technical personnel
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect
- Provide subject matter expertise to meet customer technical, schedule, and cost requirements, while developing innovative solutions to complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive experience with core Azure services and implementing Azure security best practices
- Strong understanding of cloud financial management practices and Azure networking capabilities
