Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive customer solutions, lead proposal efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize solutions that meet customer requirements and support proposal development
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to technical teams to achieve project objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive knowledge of core Azure services and security practices
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or PowerShell
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
