Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and design secure Azure cloud architectures in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete solutions that meet customer requirements and result in competitive proposals
- Coordinate technical personnel assignments and collaborate on proposal writing and solution development
- Provide subject matter expertise to ensure solutions align with technical, schedule, and cost requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive knowledge of core Azure services and security best practices
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Azure CLI
- Experience with cloud financial management practices and cost optimization strategies
