Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will lead the development of comprehensive solutions, manage technical personnel for proposal efforts, and design secure Azure cloud architectures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop complete solutions that meet customer requirements and optimize proposals through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Design, implement, and govern secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in alignment with enterprise standards and best practices
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to ensure solutions meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive knowledge of core Azure services and security best practices
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
