Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive solutions, manage proposal efforts, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of competitive proposals by understanding customer requirements and coordinating technical staff assignments
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in alignment with business objectives and security requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring solutions meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Proficiency in core Azure services and security best practices, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Strong understanding of Azure networking capabilities and experience with cloud financial management practices
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required for this position
