Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the contract Solutions Architect will design system architectures for web, mobile, and AI products, lead client technical discovery, and guide engineering teams while working fully remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with clients to transform ideas into clear solution designs
- Design system architecture, including integrations with third-party APIs and planning for security and privacy
- Review the development team's code and technical approach, ensuring alignment with the original design
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years as a solutions architect or technical lead
- Experience in an agency or consultancy environment, managing multiple client projects simultaneously
- Strong backend and data fundamentals, including API and relational data model design
- Cloud architecture experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including knowledge of containers and monitoring
- Hands-on experience designing AI features for client products, with a focus on evaluation for production
