Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive customer solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams on proposals, and design secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete solutions that meet customer requirements and optimize proposals
- Coordinate technical staff assignments and provide subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with technical, schedule, and cost requirements
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to design and implement Azure cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards and security best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Experience with large-scale cloud architecture and core Azure services
- Strong understanding of Azure security architecture and compliance frameworks
