Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will develop comprehensive solutions that meet customer requirements, lead proposal efforts, and design secure Azure cloud architectures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of proposals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions
- Design, implement, and govern secure and scalable Azure cloud architectures in alignment with enterprise standards
- Provide subject matter expertise to meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements while managing technical personnel assignments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Experience with Azure security services and best practices, including Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Firewall
- Strong understanding of Azure networking capabilities and cloud financial management practices
