Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive customer solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize proposals, and design secure Azure cloud architectures while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete solutions that meet customer requirements and result in competitive proposals
- Coordinate with technical teams to assign personnel for proposal efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards
- Provide subject matter expertise to meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements while managing risk parameters
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive experience with core Azure services and implementing Azure security best practices
- Strong understanding of Azure networking capabilities and cloud financial management practices
