Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will lead the development of comprehensive cloud solutions, leveraging Azure technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize cloud solutions that meet customer requirements and align with enterprise technology standards
- Coordinate technical personnel for proposal efforts and provide subject matter expertise throughout the proposal process
- Design and govern secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Experience with large-scale, high-availability cloud architecture and core Azure services
- Strong understanding of Azure security services and best practices
