Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Solutions Architect will lead the development of comprehensive cloud solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and create competitive proposals
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect
- Guide technical personnel in proposal efforts and coordinate solution development and estimating
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation
- Proven track record of designing and managing Azure infrastructure and services
- Experience with Azure security services and best practices
- Strong understanding of Azure networking capabilities and cloud financial management practices
