Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Solutions Architect will leverage domain expertise to develop comprehensive solutions, manage proposal efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements in a competitive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of complete solutions and proposals that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures while ensuring compliance with best practices
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to team members, optimizing technical resources and supporting proposal activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or system validation, with a proven track record in Azure infrastructure and services
- Extensive experience with core Azure services and security practices, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Firewall
- Strong understanding of Azure networking capabilities and experience in establishing multi-subscription Azure environments
- Advanced Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate are preferred
