Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Lead Solutions Engineer will manage warehousing workflows, develop pricing proposals, and support the sales team with innovative solutions in the logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
- Select optimal methods for safe and efficient product storage and create warehousing processes for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Estimate real estate requirements and align IT systems with warehousing workflows, while conducting ROI analysis and operational audits
- Present pricing proposals to clients and collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for pricing strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from a four-year college or university
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in CAD, PowerBi, SketchUp, and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Korber, Blue Yonder, or Veracore
- Ability to assess existing processes and develop innovative solutions
