Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives as the technical lead on sales deals, manage the onboarding process for external developers and agency partners, and author integration specifications while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and partner developers.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead on prospect and expansion deals, scoping native vs. custom solutions
- Conduct technical discovery on clients' technology stacks and create actionable launch paths
- Oversee the external developer and agency partner onboarding process, including documentation and environment setup
Required qualifications
- 3+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a technical role within the ecommerce or SaaS sectors, preferably in the Shopify ecosystem
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile commerce architecture, including APIs and data integrations
- Ability to translate ambiguous requests into clear specifications
- Hands-on experience with Shopify (Liquid, Storefront/Admin APIs) is a plus
- Background in agency work or front-end/mobile development is advantageous
