Solutions Engineer III
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Solutions Engineer III will support the sales team by providing technical expertise and articulating F5's value proposition to customers, while driving sales processes and mentoring sales teams on F5 solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Articulate F5 product strategy and provide technical expertise through presentations and solution designs
- Drive the sales process by identifying key technical decision-makers and securing their support
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver world-class customer service throughout the customer lifecycle
Required qualifications
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field (CS, EE, MIS) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a related technical role
- Experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix, Riverbed)
- Knowledge of HTTP, web servers, and associated protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SSL)
- Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture
