SONiC Technical Lead
Job Summary
Leading a team of systems developers and network engineers, the full-time SONiC Technical Lead will manage the qualification, bring-up, and shipping of robust SONiC releases across diverse hardware platforms while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end qualification and shipping of SONiC releases in complex data center environments
- Design and debug core SONiC subsystems and drive resolution of failures with silicon vendors
- Architect automated regression workflows integrated into CI/CD pipelines for system validation
Required qualifications
- Proven experience shipping and qualifying production-grade SONiC platforms on physical switch hardware
- Expertise in SWSS, syncd, Redis state databases, and SAI
- Strong engineering skills in C/C++ and Python within Linux environments
- Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking standards
- Experience with Python-based test frameworks and CI/CD pipeline integration
