Seeking a full-time remote Sourcing Category Manager, this position will manage the sourcing and procurement processes for Construction and Building Products, negotiate vendor contracts, and develop team members to meet business goals.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and oversee sourcing and procurement processes for Construction/Building Products
- Negotiate pricing and value for products and services efficiently
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts while evaluating product quality and market trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Construction & Building Products category management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M. preferred
- Strong knowledge of the complete procurement cycle and contract negotiation
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and third-party vendors
