Sourcing Manager

Job Summary

Experienced sourcing professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Sourcing Manager, responsible for sourcing new food products and ingredients, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing the demand planning process to ensure successful product commercialization.

Key responsibilities:

• Source and qualify new ingredients and co-manufacturers to enhance product quality and cost efficiency
• Manage product briefs from concept through production, including specification development and pilot runs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and volume commitments with suppliers while maintaining compliance with food safety standards

Required qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or product commercialization within food manufacturing or CPG
• Proven track record of managing co-manufacturers and taking food products from concept to production
• Demonstrated negotiation skills related to pricing and commercial terms
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations, including GFSI schemes and FDA labeling
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for cost and yield analysis
