Job Summary
To support the BS-AHIA program, the part-time South Carolina Adjunct Instructor will teach undergraduate courses online, integrating artificial intelligence and digital tools while assessing student performance and collaborating with faculty to enhance program quality.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality online instruction for 2-3 courses per academic year, focusing on AI integration and advanced digital tools
- Assess student engagement and performance, providing timely feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with program leadership to ensure course content aligns with student learning outcomes and program mission
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Successful teaching experience in online or accelerated programs, particularly for adult learners
- Experience integrating artificial intelligence or digital tools into curriculum design and teaching
- Knowledge of health information systems and data analytics tools
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices in AI use within educational settings
