South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary

To assist in the assessment and management of psychiatric patients, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Advanced Practice Provider will work under the supervision of a psychiatrist as part of a multidisciplinary team at Access Bridge Care Clinic, focusing on outpatient care for adults.

Key responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care through comprehensive history taking, physical examinations, and treatment evaluations
• Initiates referrals and collaborates with supervising physicians while documenting and billing for services rendered
• Participates in quality improvement activities and supports compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina as a Physician Assistant or PMHNP
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field with at least two years of clinical experience, including specialty care
• Experience in mental health preferred
