South Carolina Licensed CAD Engineer
Job Summary
To support AI training initiatives, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CAD & Simulation Engineer will design part geometry, evaluate AI agents' performance in a CAD environment, and collaborate with CFD engineers remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions for AI training
- Evaluate AI agents' attempts and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with CFD engineers to simulate the geometries created
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a Master's or PhD is a plus
- 5+ years of professional experience in CAD modeling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, or similar)
- An active professional CAD license
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above
