South Carolina Licensed Clinical Process Owner

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Nurse Informatics Officer, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Clinical Process Owner will manage and improve integrated processes that support clinical system optimization, collaborating with leaders across Information Solutions while providing oversight and leadership for designated optimization processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead optimization governance and support informed decision-making by reporting key performance indicators and improving clinician satisfaction
• Define Critical Success Factors and Key Performance Indicators for owned processes, capturing and reporting performance metrics to senior leaders
• Participate in planning activities related to optimization, including coordination between teams and execution of road maps and quality assurance activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinically focused specialty, computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience of 7 years with clinical health information systems
• Previous experience with process improvement and agile methodology is highly desired
• Demonstrated project management experience in IT and healthcare preferred
• ITIL Foundations certification or higher must be obtained within six months of hire
• Experience analyzing and documenting processes preferred
