Job Summary

Providing telephonic and video counseling, the full-time EAP Clinical Counselor will engage with clients to offer in-the-moment support, crisis management, and develop treatment plans, working remotely or in a hybrid capacity based on proximity to the Raleigh office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and video counseling while maintaining client confidentiality
• Assess clients for appropriateness for short-term counseling and manage high-risk calls
• Collaboratively develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
• Minimum of 2 years of direct client-contact providing counseling or mental health services
• Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counseling modalities
• Training in crisis intervention and experience with high-risk clients is beneficial
• Ability to work with clients facing substance abuse, crisis situations, and mental health concerns
