Job Summary
To support a growing pool of educators, the fully remote Virtual Middle School ELA Educator (SC Certified) will teach 8th grade ELA curriculum, develop lesson plans, and engage students through a virtual platform on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum and track student performance
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies
Required qualifications
- Active South Carolina teaching certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet
- Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check
