Job Summary
To support a growing online program, the part-time South Carolina Licensed Healthcare Instructor will teach undergraduate courses in the BS-AHIA program, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence and digital tools into the curriculum while providing high-quality online instruction and feedback to students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver asynchronous online instruction for 2-3 BS-AHIA courses per academic year
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback, while maintaining virtual office hours
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure course content is current and aligned with student learning outcomes
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in online or accelerated programs, particularly for adult learners
- Demonstrated experience integrating artificial intelligence or advanced digital tools into teaching
- Knowledge of health information systems and data analytics tools
- Professional experience in health informatics or related roles may substitute for educational requirements in rare cases
