Job Summary
Supporting the organization's cybersecurity missions, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Information Security Engineer will lead threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response readiness while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and improve threat intelligence and analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response activities
- Analyze intelligence data to assess organizational exposure and prioritize risk mitigation actions
- Design, maintain, and improve cybersecurity tools, detections, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of experience in cybersecurity or related technical functions
- Relevant cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCIA)
- Proven ability to lead complex analysis and communicate risk to stakeholders
- Experience in mentoring peers and improving security tools and workflows
