South Carolina Licensed Math Educator
Job Summary
To support virtual learning, a South Carolina Licensed Math Educator will deliver instruction in Discrete Math, Pre-Calculus, Geometry with Statistics, and Honors Geometry with Statistics in a fully remote, 1099 contract position, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM EST.
Key responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform and develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
- Engage and nurture student learning through thoughtful, relationship-focused strategies while tracking student grades and performance
- Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings, collaborating with in-class facilitators
Required qualifications
- Must hold an active, USA state-issued teaching certification and be authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
- Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
- Participation in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submission of a background check are required
