South Carolina Licensed Security Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, a South Carolina Licensed Security Architect will lead the design and development of security automations and tools, while integrating and optimizing enterprise security platforms across multiple state agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and operational support of advanced security automations and custom security tools
• Build and maintain automated workflows for alert enrichment, triage, incident response, and reporting
• Integrate, support, and optimize a broad range of enterprise security platforms and technologies

Required qualifications

• Broad, hands-on experience in security engineering with multiple cybersecurity technologies
• Advanced skills in integrating enterprise technologies using APIs, SDKs, and web services
• Deep proficiency in Linux deployment, configuration, and scripting
• Strong capability in developing automation and security response workflows using various scripting languages
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification and pass background checks
