South Carolina Network Security Manager

Job Summary

To support academic, research, and healthcare operations, the full-time salaried South Carolina Network Security Manager will deliver secure and scalable network infrastructure services while managing team resources, overseeing technical operations, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee routing, switching, wireless networks, VPN, firewalls, and authentication services
• Serve as a subject matter expert, resolving complex technical issues and translating requirements into secure solutions
• Support team development and establish processes to enhance service adoption and operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in information technology management, computer science, or a related field
• At least seven years of progressive work experience in Network Infrastructure and/or Security Engineering
• A minimum of two years of management experience leading teams and projects
