South Carolina Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring the accurate posting and reconciliation of payments, the full-time South Carolina Payment Posting Specialist will manage daily payment processes for assigned clients while auditing all batches for accuracy in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure integrity and balancing of patient accounting systems, including A/R, electronic payments, adjustments, and refunds
• Reconcile all payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other sources on a daily basis
• Audit posted batches to maintain accuracy in payment postings for all assigned clients

Required qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in payment posting or reconciliation
• Familiarity with patient accounting systems and revenue cycle processes
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong attention to detail in auditing financial transactions
