Job Summary
To provide medical care to patients in Senior Care, the part-time PRN South Dakota Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely, managing patient assessments and treatment plans under physician supervision while covering 2 to 4 12-hour shifts monthly, including some weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide medical care and support to geriatric populations, ensuring compliance with state regulations
- Manage patient follow-ups and coordinate care within the Senior Care department
Required qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing required
- One or more years of experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or nursing home settings preferred
- Active South Dakota Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licenses required
- Certification as a nurse practitioner from a nationally recognized certifying body must be maintained
