SOX Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance compliance processes, the full-time SOX Automation Engineer will design, implement, and manage automation solutions for SOX compliance in a remote capacity, focusing on reducing manual efforts and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing SOX processes to identify automation opportunities and develop a comprehensive automation roadmap
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Chef across various enterprise environments
- Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to ensure automated solutions meet SOX control objectives and evidence requirements
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, particularly SOX Section 404 and IT General Controls
- Extensive experience in SOX processes, including access management and evidence collection
- Proven ability to architect and execute an enterprise-wide SOX automation strategy across diverse technologies
- Hands-on experience developing automation solutions using Ansible, Chef, and other relevant technologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate automation strategies to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
