Spanish Interpreter

Job Summary

To support effective communication in various fields, especially healthcare, the freelance OPI/VRI Spanish Interpreter will provide accurate remote interpretation services, working on a contract basis from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls or video sessions professionally while adhering to the Interpreter's Code of Conduct
• Accurately interpret conversations, maintaining neutrality and confidentiality
• Utilize specialized medical terminology and take clear notes during sessions

Required qualifications

• Bilingual or native level proficiency in English and Spanish
• Minimum of 3 years of professional interpreting experience
• Preferred interpreter certification
• Strong command of medical terminology
• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
