Spanish Licensed Consecutive Interpreter

Job Summary

To facilitate effective communication, the contracted Spanish Licensed Consecutive Interpreter will provide over-the-phone interpretation services remotely, ensuring clarity and understanding during various interactions while adhering to industry standards and confidentiality protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during phone calls, meetings, and interviews
• Listen to speakers in the source language and accurately convey messages in the target language
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity throughout the interpretation process

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating on the national ILR scale or equivalent
• Completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments (headset, stable internet, laptop)
