Job Summary
To support a global IP solutions team, the full-time remote Spanish Patent Language Lead will manage translation, copy-editing, and quality assurance of complex patent/legal documents from English to Spanish while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Performing on-demand translation and copy-edit tasks on assigned projects
- Managing language materials and ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Coordinating with internal and external linguists and participating in quality initiatives
Required qualifications
- University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistic Studies, or equivalent experience
- Native-level proficiency in Spanish and fluent in English
- 8+ years of relevant experience in translation/localization/editing
- 5+ years of review experience, particularly in patent translation
- Excellent knowledge of CAT tools and localization processes
