Special Loans Specialist
Job Summary
Providing ongoing support for special loan products, the full-time remote Special Loans Specialist will manage data updates, conduct compliance research, and assist with inquiries related to loan modifications, ARM loans, and SCRA adjustments.
Key responsibilities
- Update data fields in the servicing system for compliance and changes related to special loans
- Perform research and make timely system changes in response to requests from investors, customers, or other departments
- Audit the Loan Servicing portfolio to identify loans eligible for Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) protection and process related documentation
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of mortgage servicing experience
- Experience with special loan product types and documentation preferred
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Familiarity with adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) contracts and compliance regulations
