Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Specifications Specialist will manage customer order entry, engineering change management, and RFQ processes while ensuring product specifications meet technical, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains complex cable designs and product specifications in the specification system upon receiving customer orders
- Administers product specification activities throughout the customer order entry and engineering change management processes
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are feasible, comprehensive, and compliant with industry standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, business, or a related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience in the wire and cable industry
- Basic knowledge of wire & cable products, industry standards, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and Cablebuilder software
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
